1. Legal Aid – |
- Legal aid is a means to ensure that the opportunities for securing justice are not denied to any person by reason of poverty, illiteracy, etc. To achieve the above objective, GLC, Jote has constituted a designated Legal Aid Cell in compliance with the National Legal Services Authorities Regulation 2011. The cell shall work in collaboration with various NGOS, Authorities and engage in consultation, awareness programmes and community services. Further, trained student Para legal volunteers will be assisting the persons seeking free legal services.

2.Moot Court – |
- The main objective of Moot court is to impart practical training to the law students along with providing theoretical knowledge by organizing Moot Court competition at various levels such as Intra-college, national and international. This will provide students a valuable opportunity to hone both their written and oral advocacy skills. Govt. Law College strongly believes that training in Moot Court will lead to a better and fuller understanding of the purpose and procedure of law as well as development of advocacy skills.

23.Research – |
- JGGLC Centre for Legal Studies and Research (CLSR) aims to develop a research culture and become a research-intensive college based on excellence and quality. CSLR aims and strives to enable students and faculty members to hone research skills with perfection and to adopt methodologies applicable to peculiar situation developed in the recent past. It further aims and promotes highest possible research output amongst students and faculty members and builds a repository of knowledge. CLSR also have taken up the task of conducting seminar, debate, discussion on varied issues, recent judgments, bills, acts passed by Parliament and States Legislatures and issues pertaining to recent development which requires academic inputs.

4. Grievances Redressal and Disciplinary Cell (for students and faculty) |
- Grievance Redressal and Disciplinary cellconsist of convenor and faculty members. The objective and purpose of the cell is to address and resolve academic and non-academic grievances relating to student and staffs. Further the cell strives to ensure and maintain the student code of conduct in the institute and any violation shall be dealt with as per the policy.
